The building consists out of three levels, of which most space is designated for office functions. An atrium lies in the middle, connecting all spaces together, and the basement features a parking garage. Much attention has been devoted to sustainability. For example, a geothermal heat pump serves as a heat source during winter and a heat sink during summer. Furthermore, a ventilation system with heat recovery helps maintaining the right temperature in every room throughout every season.

The new city hall’s architectural design has been made by Neutelings Riedijk Architects. Aronsohn provided the complete structural design.
