The existing building has undergone an interior and exterior metamorphosis. In this process, the previously closed building has been transformed into a modern office building with a great amount of daylighting by means of various open spaces and courtyards. Furthermore, the building has been expanded with an extra floor, and all the facades have been renewed and upgraded. An iconic dimension stone façade faces the street side of the building. The building, constructed with sustainable materials, is furnished with modern and sustainable facilities, such as green roofs, increased insulation, a geothermal heat pump and daylighting measures.

Next to offices, the building houses rehearsal and audition halls on the ground level. Stage Entertainment integrates her various establishments in and about Amsterdam in a single building, giving rise to a unique interaction between office and theatre activities. Because of the available storey height on the ground floor, this level is exceptionally suitable for this combination. Several structural tours de force were required to create a sufficient area of free floor space.

Tenant, builder owner, designers and contractors have been working together closely since the start of the design of this approximately 6.500m2 GFA building.

Aronsohn Management guided the entire project as construction manager and administrator. Furthermore, Aronsohn Management provided supervision on the works.
