On 19 June 2019, Queen Máxima opened the extension and renovation of the Central Military Hospital (CMH) in Utrecht in the presence of, among others, Minister Ank Bijleveld-Schouten. After 30 years, the Central Military Hospital (CMH) needed to be renewed and a transformation took place. Two new floors below the existing building were realized in an area that was previously used as a bicycle shed. In addition, the main entrance has been renewed and various new floors and stairs have been added to the existing construction.
Just like 30 years ago, Aronsohn Constructies again provided the complete structural design, specifications and detailed drawings, as well as the structural calculations of the existing and new construction.
