Contract Hanze University of Groningen!

AHA SDR, a collaboration of Aronsohn with its Italian partners Hydea and AEI Progetti, has acquired the design contract for the processing and construction of the Hanze University Groningen at location Zernikeplein 7. The complex consisting of several buildings will be transformed, according to the vision of JHK Architects, into a cohesive building of about 33,000 m2 GFA, where meetings, work, studying, conferences and interaction will optimally support each other.

In the design of the new building and the renovation earthquake resistance plays an important role. AHA SDR has won the contract through an innovative approach to seismic design with a structure that allows both vision of the architect and the Hanzehogeschool to be achieved.
