On April 16th 2015, construction of building Rg, the last part of the Erasmus Medical Centre’s new construction project, will start. The building contains polyclinics, staff departments, nursing care departments and the Pharmafilter.
Building A, completed in 1953 after a design by Pieter Dijkema, is the first hospital building of the Radboud University Medical Centre that came to function as a nursing care facility. EGM designed the renovation and transformation of this historic building into a sustainable office supporting The New Working Method (a Dutch term for being able to work wherever and whenever one wants), a dialysis centre and a restaurant.
For building A, Aronsohn Structures has provided the entire structure design, drawings for the detailed design and production information, as well as structure calculations.
